About
Read the crest.
The center already had a brand before it had a website — a hand-drawn crest the teens wear. Every mark on it means something. Here is what.
Why we exist
Our after school center empowers students in grades 3-12th in underserved communities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We create a safe, inspiring environment where youth gain the tools, mentorship, and real-world experiences to succeed in school and beyond.
The hours
The hours right after the last bell are when kids are most likely to be unsupervised — and when juvenile crime and victimization peak.
Per the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
A program of
Second Baptist Church, Aiken, SC
The center is led by Christopher Emanuel, who also runs two sister organizations for fathers and families in the CSRA.
